Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in London, Ontario to provide frontline security services as a Mobile Supervisor. This part-time position requires weekend coverage (Saturdays and Sundays) from 12:00 to 23:59.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, familiarity with access control and CCTV systems, and experience in report writing. A valid Ontario security guard license, a full G-class driver's license with a clean abstract, and the ability to work 40 hours

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Full G class Drivers License and a clear drivers abstract is mandatory.
• Must be comfortable with driving for a long period of time.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior of facility, looking for signs of illegal / criminal activity, vagrancy, theft, property damage.
• Conduct regular communication checks with City of London Security dispatch.
• Access control for the facility/area
• Document shift activities in Daily Activity Report; complete incident reports with AUS mobile team.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as perthe post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols,manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.
• Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
