Paladin Security Group is seeking a Mobile Driver Security Guard in Kelowna, BC. This full-time, on-site role combines vehicle patrols with on-site inspections to keep local businesses and communities safe.

You will patrol, respond to alarms, and inspect properties across assigned routes. Requires BC Security Licence, Class 5 Driver's Licence, and ability to pass a Criminal Record Check. Fluency in English and flexibility for shifts are essential.

Site Overview

As a Mobile Security Guard, you will serve as a responsive, visible presence across a variety of client properties throughout Kelowna. This dynamic role keeps you active and on the move, combining vehicle patrols with on-site inspections to maintain safety and security for local businesses and community spaces.

What You'll Be Doing

You will work independently to conduct patrols, secure property, and respond to real-time events across assigned routes. Your main responsibilities will include:

Conducting scheduled and random mobile patrols using company vehicles.

Responding promptly to alarms, emergency calls, and service requests.

Performing thorough interior and exterior property inspections.

Locking and unlocking designated buildings, doors, and gates.

Identifying, documenting, and reporting safety hazards, maintenance issues, and security risks.

Completing accurate, detailed incident and patrol reports.

Maintaining regular communication with dispatchers, clients, and emergency services.

Operating company vehicles safely and professionally at all times.

Must Haves

Valid BC Security Licence.

Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.

At least 1 year of security industry experience.

Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Physical capacity to perform patrol duties, including walking, climbing stairs, and driving.

Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Flexible availability to work various shifts, including overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with Kelowna street networks and surrounding areas.

Prior experience in mobile patrol operations or alarm response.
