Job summary

Paladin Security Group in Cranbrook, BC is seeking a Security Guard Mobile Driver for temporary on-site work. You will operate company vehicles for mobile patrols, respond to alarms, inspect properties, lock/unlock facilities, and report security issues while maintaining communication with dispatch and clients.

Flexible nights/weekends available. The role requires a BC security licence, a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license with clean record, and the ability to pass a criminal record check.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
• At least 1 year of experience in security.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete overnight shifts.
• Physical ability to perform patrol duties: driving, walking, stairs.
• Flexible schedule availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Job Title: Security Guard Mobile Driver

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: As Needed (flexible availability required for nights, weekends, and holidays)

Site Overview

This role provides mobile security patrols and alarm response across various client properties in the Cranbrook area. Operating a company vehicle, you will serve as an active safety presence, keeping local businesses and properties secure.

What You'll Be Doing

Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols across assigned client locations.

Respond quickly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and service calls.

Perform detailed interior and exterior property inspections.

Lock and unlock facility doors, gates, and buildings according to schedule.

Identify, address, and report safety hazards, security risks, and maintenance issues.

Write clear, detailed incident reports and daily patrol logs.

Maintain regular communication with dispatch, clients, and emergency services.

Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times.

Must Haves

Valid BC Security Licence.

Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.

At least 1 year of experience working in the security industry.
