Job summary

Paladin Security Group in Campbell River, BC is seeking a Security Guard for mobile patrol and static posts. This full-time, on-site role offers flexible schedules and a competitive hourly wage.

You will perform foot patrols, monitor for incidents, assist clients, and prepare clear, concise reports while delivering professional customer service in a dynamic security environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid BC Security License.
• Valid Class 5 or Class 7N BC Driver’s License (Mobile Patrol).
• High School Diploma or GED.

Position Overview

Title: Security Guard (Mobile Patrol & Static)

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $19.49 - $22.53 per hour (Training wage: $19.00 per hour)

Schedule: Flexible schedules available including mornings, days, nights, and weekends across fixed full-time shifts.

Site Overview

Work across a varied portfolio of client locations in Campbell River. This environment offers a mix of static posts and mobile patrol assignments, providing an active work setting where you can interact with the community and support local site safety.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide customer service and maintain positive interactions with clients, tenants, and visitors.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to secure property, equipment, and safety.
• Monitor for security breaches, safety hazards, and emergencies, contacting emergency services when required.

Must Haves

• Valid BC Security License.
• Valid Class 5 or Class 7N BC Driver’s License (required for Mobile Patrol duties).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Nice-to-Haves

• 6 months of experience in customer service or security.
• Basic First Aid certification (OFA Level 1 or higher).
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention.
