Job summary

Paladin Security is seeking dedicated Security Guards to maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and the public in Cranbrook and the East Kootenay region. Responsibilities include visible patrols, monitoring access control, and timely reporting, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates hold a BC Security License, are able to stay calm under pressure, and are flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License
• Basic Occupational First Aid Training is an asset
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence and maintain a safe environment
• Patrol premises, monitor access control, and report irregularities
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with professionalism
• Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures
• Complete detailed and accurate daily reports
• Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public
