Job summary

Paladin Security seeks professional, reliable Security Guards to maintain a safe environment for clients, employees and the public. You will patrol sites, verify IDs, monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to incidents, and liaise with emergency services while upholding company policies and delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers varied shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays) with potential benefits and career growth within Paladin’s environment.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Basic First Aid is an asset.
• BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Experience in security or customer service.
• Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned sites and monitor for safety and security risks.
• Control access points and verify identification.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service calls.
• Enforce site rules and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
• Write clear and accurate incident and shift reports.
• Liaise with supervisors, clients, and emergency services.
