Paladin Security is seeking an Industrial Security Officer in Kamloops, BC. The role involves maintaining strict access control, patrolling sites, and responding promptly to security incidents, all while delivering excellent customer service in outdoor, variable conditions.

Requirements include a valid BC Security Licence, OFA 3, and a BC Class 5 Driver's Licence. This is a part-time, multi-shift position with potential benefits and opportunities for growth within Paladin’s team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As an Industrial Security Officer, you know how to remain this way while working under pressure. You provide exceptional customer service skills and always do so with a friendly smile. You also utilize PPE and write detailed incident reports thanks to your excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
• Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
• Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
• Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

• Are comfortable standing or being outdoors for long periods of time.
• Hold a valid BC Security License
• Hold a valid Advanced First Aid (OFA Level 3) certification.
• Hold a valid BC class 5 driver's license.
• Are eligible to work in Canada for full time.
• Have prior experience which Is considered an asset.
