Job summary

Paladin Security in British Columbia is seeking professional Security Guards to help maintain a safe environment for our clients and communities in the Thompson, Cariboo, Shuswap, Okanagan, and Kootenay regions. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence required.
• BC Class 5 driver’s license is required.
• First Aid certification is an asset.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Previous security or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned sites and monitor for safety.
• Control access points and verify identification.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and service calls.
• Enforce site rules and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and assistance.
• Write clear and accurate incident and shift reports.
• Liaise with supervisors, clients, and emergency services.

Qualifications
