To analyse the risks associated with new lending, structuring and derivative proposals with the intention of facilitating new business.
Manage all work received and sent out of the centre
Ensure confirmation and maintenance of security documents is done
Thorough checking of new submissions and perfected securities to safeguard the Bank /risk position.
Resolving of CMP/ Branch network queries through telephone and correspondence and advice on suitable security arrangements for the Bank.
Send regular updates to Branches and conclusive chasers for outstanding matters.
Maintain high level of customer service standards by monitoring SLA with branches and Lawyers.
Maintain robust controls on security documents held in the Unit in the course of documentation.
Participate effectively in new projects and provide adequate resources for successful implementation and roll-out.
Manage crisis and expedite solutions to restore procedures and maintain SLA.
Ensure filling, scanning and retrieval of security documents is done.
Ensure customer documents are kept in secure locations at all times.
Build Team working that achieves quality service levels and supports AML goals.
Improve and manage productivity through work measurement initiatives and refined procedures.
Organize regular meetings with virtual team across the business to evaluate and improve end to end work processes, and discuss and resolve issues
Test and review contingency plan on a regular basis.
Prepare periodical returns within set deadlines.
Monitor Office accounts and ensure adequately protected and reconciled.
Manage reports and ensure properly actioned.
Be in control of the charge back and reconciliation process to ensure minimum losses.
Closely supervise the merchant deposit scrutinizing and batching to avoid frauds
Maintain the reconciliation of all accounts to minimize losses.
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Absa Policies and Policy Standards.
Understand and manage risks and risk events (incidents) relevant to the role.
Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
