Position: SAP Plant Maintenance (eAM) Lead
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Day-to-Day Job Duties
Lead Functional SAP Plant Maintenance (eAM)
- Act as functional expert for SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM S/4 HANA Data Migration
- Analyze legacy data, quality‑check submitted load files, test load quality, lead user testing and acceptance of the load process, provide input into specifications for automated data‑migration transformation rules, analyze and identify duplicate records and other activities required for successful and on‑time data migration.
- Perform high‑level analysis of customer business processes and requirements to support project data‑migration requirements with proposed solutions
- Perform detailed analysis of customer requirements to produce custom solution specifications, if any
- Provide direction to SAP BODS/ADM development teams for solution realization and participate, as necessary, during coding, testing, documentation and maintenance activities
- Work closely with the Data Migration team to document data‑migration requirements, project planning and load scheduling, testing and troubleshooting, and issue resolution
Basic Qualifications
- Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM/EAM) implementations / rollouts
- Previous experience (minimum 5 years) in SAP S/4 HANA implementations, data migrations, or rollouts
- SAP S/4 HANA data‑migration expertise (minimum 2 years) in SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM master / transaction data
- Good experience (minimum 3 years) in SAP Plant Maintenance/EAM master data migration objects such as functional location, equipment, spare parts, BOMs (FL, EQ, ML), task list (GL, FL, EQ), calibration equipment master data (MICs, TL, maintenance plans, measuring points, etc.)
- Ability to lead business workshops for blueprinting activities with minimum expertise of 1–2 years
- Proven experience with Migration Cockpit, including at least one successful migration project
- Extensive experience with LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench), with a minimum of one year of experience or involvement in at least one successful project
- Preferred: Familiarity with QM (Quality Management) and MM (Materials Management) master data objects, with at least one year of experience or completion of a successful project
- Knowledge of IDoc (Intermediate Document), demonstrated through participation in at least one project
