Rate: $120-125/hr C2C (some flexibility for senior candidates)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Lead with expertise in Project Systems (PS) to join our team in Toronto, ON on a contract basis working for a large SAP consulting client for a project in the manufacturing space. The SAP Functional Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation and support of the PS module within SAP, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and objectives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and support of the SAP PS module, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring the system, and managing testing and training activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration with other SAP modules and external systems
• Provide expert guidance and support to project teams, including functional and technical consultants, developers, and business users
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for PS module implementations and upgrades
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the PS module
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP PS and share knowledge with the team
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the PS module
• Participate in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide recommendations for resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Lead, with a focus on the PS module
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Experience leading full-cycle SAP implementations and upgrades, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PS functionality, including project structures, planning, budgeting, and cost management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing offshore resources is an asset
• SAP certification in Project Systems is preferred

This is a contract position based in Toronto, ON, Canada. The duration of the contract will be determined based on project needs and the performance of the candidate but initial duration is 6 months with long‑term extension potential.
