Qualifications

  • 5+ years of automotive dealership sales experience.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • 2+ years of F&I experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.

Job Details

Steele Mazda St. John’s is looking for a high‑energy, results‑driven Sales Manager to lead day‑to‑day performance across our New and Pre‑Owned Vehicle Sales departments. This role focuses on momentum – you’ll fuel exceptional customer experiences while motivating our sales team to continue delivering top‑notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in conjunction with the General Sales Manager in all areas of sales operations and performance.
  • Manage daily sales‑floor activity for New and Pre‑Owned Vehicle Sales.
  • Desk and approve all new vehicle deals prior to F&I turnover.
  • Distribute, monitor, and manage all sales leads.
  • Coach, train, and develop Sales and F&I team members.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure a consistently high‑quality customer experience and resolve escalated concerns.
  • Support inventory management, merchandising, and trade appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with Mazda brand standards, dealership policies, and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with Service, Parts, Accounting, Marketing, and HR teams.

  • 5+ years of automotive dealership sales experience.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • 2+ years of F&I experience.
