Sales Engineer

Trust Air Conditioners

Location: West Vancouver, BC

Salary: $45.00 hourly / 30 hours per week

Employment Type: Full time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 3 to less than 5 years

Work Location: On-site (no remote work)

Responsibilities:
  1. Estimate costs of installing equipment.
  2. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties, and delivery dates.
  3. Oversee the preparation of sales and orders.
  4. Prepare sales or other contracts.
  5. Promote sales to existing clients.
  6. Read blueprints to determine dimensions and material requirements.
  7. Identify and solicit potential clients.
  8. Assess client needs and resources to recommend suitable goods or services.
  9. Develop reports and proposals highlighting benefits of products or services.
  10. Deliver sales presentations.
  11. Represent companies in international trade.
  12. Conduct sales transactions.
  13. Prepare and manage sales contracts.
  14. Use sales forecasting software.
  15. Conduct electronic commerce sales transactions.
  16. Provide input into product design based on client needs.
  17. Follow up with clients post-sale for ongoing support.
  18. Stay informed about product innovations, competitors, and market conditions.
  19. Train customers' staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
  20. Present product benefits and uses to clients.
  21. Resolve product and service-related issues.
  22. Troubleshoot equipment problems.
  23. Market and promote products, sales, or services.
  24. Provide excellent customer service.
  25. Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists.
