We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales and expand our client base within the geotechnical monitoring sector. This role combines technical expertise with sales skills, requiring site visits, InSAR demonstrations, and clear communication of the ROI of our solutions. You will build strong client relationships and contribute to our company's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales & Presentations:
    • Conduct on-site technical presentations and demonstrations of our geotechnical monitoring technologies, focusing on InSAR.
    • Articulate the technical capabilities and benefits of our solutions to diverse audiences, including engineers, project managers, and executives.
    • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions highlighting the ROI of our services.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in mining, infrastructure, and construction sectors.
    • Conduct site visits to assess needs and recommend solutions.
    • Provide technical support throughout the sales process.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the territory.
    • Generate and qualify leads via networking, industry events, and outreach.
    • Prepare technical proposals and quotations.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Maintain understanding of geotechnical monitoring principles, including GB-InSAR.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
    • Collaborate with technical teams for deployments.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
    • Provide regular reports and forecasts to management.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Marketing.
  • 3-5 years experience in mining or geotechnical monitoring.
  • Ability to present technical information effectively.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to client sites.

Additional Skills:

  • Good understanding of InSAR principles and theories.
  • Familiarity with mining operations and industry.
  • Experience with geotechnical monitoring instrumentation.
