Job summary

EMSL Canada is seeking a Sales Assistant in Ottawa, ON, to support client communications and lead generation. The role is on-site, Monday to Friday, with standard business hours and opportunities to learn complex systems.

The ideal candidate has a customer service background and the ability to learn quickly, working with CRM and shopping cart order systems. Benefits and equal opportunity employer are offered.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Science or Business preferred, but not required.
• Two years work experience required.
• Authorization to work in Canada indefinitely without restriction.
• Ability to interface with clients and foster relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incoming and outbound calls and emails to/from customers.
• Trouble shoot client issues related to due dates, reports, pricing, invoices, scheduling.
• Arrange/set up client and/or client prospect appointments for Account Manager.
• Generate and qualify leads by placing outbound calls to qualified prospects.
• Data Entry and maintenance of hotlists, communications, documents in our CRM.
• Create/send follow up marketing materials and/or sales proposals/quote.
