Job summary

Germain Hotels in Montreal is seeking a part-time runner who keeps the service moving by delivering items and executing tasks quickly and accurately.

You’ll coordinate with staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of requests, help clear and reset tables, and support servers while maintaining guest safety. A high school diploma is acceptable; physical stamina to stand for hours and lift up to 50 lb is required, along with strong communication and teamwork.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate the timely preparation and delivery of requests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Collaborate with servers to address any guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and replenish supplies, such as condiments and utensils, as necessary to support efficient service.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• High school diploma or equivalent, an asset.
• Experience in restaurant service, an asset.
• Good physical condition: must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift/carry loads of up to 50 lb.
• Excellent stress and pressure management skills.
• Sociable and team player.
• Natural ability to communicate well.
