Job summary

BayCare Health System is recruiting for an Operating Room Pool RN at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL.

The role requires caring for a subspecialty patient group using standard nursing processes, while delegating care to the health team and upholding professional standards. The position demands a minimum of 2 years RN experience in the OR, with at least 18 months in the OR for consideration and CVOR experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in OR
• At least 18 months of Operating Room experience as an RN required for consideration
• CVOR experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients using nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development per standards set by a recognized specialty organization
• RN may preceptor and serve as charge nurse when assigned
