Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN for the Medical Group in Tampa, FL. This full-time, onsite role supports physicians and the healthcare team, applying nursing process and established protocols to coordinate patient care.

The position requires 1 year of nursing experience and an active Florida RN license, with a preference for BSN. Onsite work with standard day shifts, no remote work, and on-call duties are noted.

• Active Florida RN License.

Responsibilities

• Support the physician's office healthcare team.
• Independently manage a group of patients using the nursing process.
• Apply clinical standards and established protocols to support patient care needs.
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team.
• Review patient information and coordinate follow-up activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Support quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment to support patient outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Overview

As an RN - Medical Group, you will support the physician's office healthcare team by utilizing the nursing process, clinical standards, and established protocols to help manage and coordinate patient care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, collaboration, and the ability to work independently while supporting providers and other members of the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications Education

• Technical Degree in Nursing OR
• Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience Required:

• One (1) year of Nursing experience

Experience Preferred:

• One (1) year of Medical Office experience
