Job summary

Bird Nason Contracting Group is seeking Rig Welders for the DOW Chemical Cogen Shutdown project in shift-based roles. You will weld to quality standards, collaborate with pipefitters and apprentices, and mentor junior staff while upholding safety and shop efficiency.

The position emphasizes adherence to CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and competitive benefits as per the collective agreement. You must hold a Journeyperson Welder Certification with B-Pressure and ideally Red Seal credentials.

Qualifications

  • CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 training required.
  • Valid Journeyperson Welder Certification and B-Pressure Certification.
  • Red Seal Certification or recognized trade ticket.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production welding targets.
  • Commitment to quality, safety and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Organized, self-driven and able to understand and execute oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Rotation: Shutdown - 12 hours

Night shift and day shift available

What You Will Be Working On
