Job summary

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is actively seeking local Apprentices and Journeyperson Pipefitters for work at our Fort Saskatchewan, AB project. Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off.

Hours: 10 hours per day. Benefits and RRSP provided as per collective agreement. Responsibilities include process piping and equipment installations, threading, cutting, grooving, bending and measuring piping, reading plans and specs for layout, hydrostatic testing, and ensuring EH&S and

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyperson Certificate or Apprentice Certificate.
  • CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, MEWP, Confined Space, Fire Watch.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety hazards and precautions.
  • Experience on major industrial project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Process piping and equipment installations.
  • Threading, cutting, grooving, bending, and measuring piping.
  • Read plans and specs to determine layout and installation needs.
  • Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems.
  • Maintain EH&S practices and OH&S compliance on site.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Process piping and equipment installations
  • Threading, cutting, grooving, bending, measuring of piping
  • Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
  • Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems
  • Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site
What We Are Looking For
