Job summary

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is seeking local General Labourers for our Fabrication Shop in Nisku, AB. You will contribute to yard operations, material handling and shipping support in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, maintaining a clean yard, loading shipments, and assisting with inventory counts while following written and oral instructions. Benefits and RRSP provided per collective agreement.

Qualifications

• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 certifications required.
• Extensive knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50 lbs.
• Must be organized, self-driven and able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard.
• Organize materials, equipment, and fabrication components within the yard.
• Remove debris, scrap materials, and packaging waste.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal site maintenance.
• Support yard layout and planning.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Support transportation crews during loading activities.
• Prepare shipping materials, dunnage, and rigging equipment.
• Assist with shipment inspections before transport.
• Verify materials against shipping documentation.
• Move materials and fabrication components using forklifts and other equipment when authorized.
• Support inventory counts and material tracking.
• Ensure material storage areas are organized and accessible.
• Deliver materials and consumables to production areas as required.

What You Will Be Working On
