Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Saskatoon to lead store operations and drive exceptional customer service. You will act as the on‑duty manager, coach and train staff, and ensure daily store performance aligns with company standards.

You will oversee scheduling, merchandising, cash handling, and adherence to policies while delivering a welcoming, inclusive shopping experience that celebrates fan culture and branded apparel.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs and ongoing coaching.
• Schedule and staff the store, manage staffing levels, and open/close procedures.
• Enforce company policies and safeguard inventory and cash.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote loyalty programs.
