Job summary

The Joint Cannabis in Saskatoon seeks a Retail Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations under the General Manager, including training staff, supervising sales, inventory management, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will address customer concerns, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support a high-performing team through coaching, scheduling, and merchandising execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the retail industry.
• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role in retail.
• Clear criminal record.
• Provincial Cannabis Certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest experience is consistently exceptional and drives customer retention.
• Provide outstanding customer service and respond to inquiries/complaints.
• Direct and supervise employees in sales, inventory, and cash handling.
• Build team commitment to high service standards and lead by example.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure quality service and goods.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and compliant processes.
• Communicate policy/product changes to staff and customers.
• Assist with training and daily task execution to maximize sales.
• Coordinate merchandise replenishment and floor changes.
• Support store team with visual merchandise and housekeeping.
