Job summary

Michaels in GUELPH, ON is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure fast checkout. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep shelves full and appealing.

This role also supports omnichannel tasks like BOPIS and Ship From Store, promotes the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and requires adherence to SOPs and safety standards. Retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to heavy boxes

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Perform truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
• Maintain stock, recover merchandise, and manage returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
