Job summary

Staples Canada in Victoriaville is seeking a friendly, customer‑focused associate to join our team. You will help customers, learn our print and services, and offer informed recommendations to meet their needs.

You will handle POS transactions, manage print orders, stock supplies, and maintain merchandising and signage while following Health & Safety and privacy policies. The role also includes learning and development opportunities and an associate discount, with strong teamwork encouraged.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute to the success of the print and customer service areas and offer informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with store leaders to set and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Perform in-store print production.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies.
• Engage with and sell to all customers using our selling model.
• Handle POS transactions including shipping and marketing tools.
• Fulfill steps for intake or pickup of print orders; manage print dashboard queues.
• Ensure machines are stocked with paper, toners, and supplies; catalogue and bin orders.
• Maintain merchandising and signage standards; ensure accurate inventory control.
• Learn and maintain all standards in Print and Services areas.
