Job summary

Staples Canada is hiring a Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in our print and customer service areas. You will engage customers, learn products and services, and help meet sales and margin goals while performing in-store print production.

A collaborative team environment and strong communication are essential. You will handle POS transactions, manage print orders, stock supplies, and maintain store signage.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and sell to all customers by offering tailored products and services using our selling model.
• Handle transactions using the POS system including shipping and marketing tools.
• Fulfill steps for intake or pickup of print orders, filtering orders from the print dashboard, phone, and counter.
• Ensure printers and machines are stocked with paper, toner, and supplies.
• Catalogue print orders according to company standards and bin orders properly.
• Maintain merchandising and signage standards around print and cash areas.
• Learn and maintain standards in Print and Services areas with checklists and audits.
