Job summary

Staples Canada in Candiac is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service while learning and promoting print and related services. You will engage customers, offer tailored recommendations, and support daily store operations.

You will process transactions at the POS, assist with print production, manage orders for pickup or shipping, and help maintain signage, inventory, and store standards to ensure a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute to print and customer service areas by learning products and offering informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with store leaders to set and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Perform in-store print production.
• Handle transactions using the POS system, including shipping and marketing tools.
• Fulfill steps for intake or pickup of customer orders in Print.
• Maintain merchandising, signage, and inventory control in print and cash areas.
• Learn and uphold Print and Services standards, checklists, audits, and brand guidelines.
