Job summary

Staples Canada in Ottawa, Ontario seeks a friendly and motivated Retail Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and promote our print and customer service offerings. You will learn our products and services, recommend informed solutions, and support store leadership in achieving sales and margin goals.

The role requires the ability to handle transactions, assist customers, and maintain store standards, including Health & Safety and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute to the success of the print and customer service areas of the store by utilizing our selling model within the store and learning all our products and services to offer informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with store leaders to set and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Perform in-store print production.
• Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies.
