Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking an enthusiastic associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will learn our products and services to offer informed recommendations and help customers with print needs.

This role involves POS transactions, collaboration with store leaders to reach sales goals, and maintaining print and cash area standards. Prior retail experience is preferred and associates benefit from discounts and learning programs.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and identify opportunities to engage customers.
• Sell products and services using Staples selling model.
• Collaborate with store leaders to set and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Perform in-store print production.
• Maintain health & safety, asset protection, and privacy policies.
• Handle POS transactions, including shipping and marketing tools.
• Fulfill intake or pickup of customer orders in Print.
• Maintain merchandising and signage standards around print and cash areas.
