Job summary

Staples Canada in Beloeil, QC is seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor to lead sales and store operations with a strong focus on customer service and brand standards.

You will supervise merchandising, freight flow, promotions, front office tasks, and lead training for associates. As a keyholder, you will support programs, report on stock levels and sales trends, and ensure daily readiness of the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in retail.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience with direct accountability for achieving sales and service targets.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strength and keen eye for visual merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Model and coach selling behaviors and engage with customers to motivate associates.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee inventory and merchandising standards; ensure store is customer-ready daily; manage backroom tasks and provide stock/sales reports.
• Training and Development: Support training, development, and coaching of associates and assist in performance conversations.
• Communication: Facilitate meetings and ensure smooth operations by addressing issues promptly.
• Health & Safety: Support health and safety policies; conduct inspections and maintain a safe environment.
• Administrative Duties: Perform front office tasks, including weekly cash office administration and reporting.
