Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor to drive sales and store performance while delivering exceptional customer service. You will lead by example, supervise merchandising, freight flow, promotions, and front office tasks as a keyholder, ensuring brand standards and a safe store environment.

You will coach associates, manage weekly cash office reporting, and contribute to training and development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in retail.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience with direct accountability for sales targets.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: model selling behaviors, engage with customers, and motivate associates to deliver a seamless experience.
• Operational Excellence: oversee inventory, merchandising standards, and backroom tasks; provide stock and sales trend reports.
• Training and Development: support coaching of associates and performance conversations.
• Communication: facilitate meetings, ensure clear information flow, and address issues promptly.
• Health & Safety: support policies, conduct inspections, and maintain a safe environment.
• Administrative Duties: perform front office tasks, weekly cash office administration, and reporting.
