Staples Canada in North Vancouver seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead our retail operations, champion our selling model, and elevate customer experiences. You will drive operational excellence, guide budgeting and performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the store team.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail leadership, strong communication, and a track record of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably as a General Manager.
• Proven experience achieving sales and service targets with a customer-centered approach.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to inspire others.

Responsabilités

• Drive Operational and Sales Excellence: model and nurture our sales culture and brand standards.
• Lead by example, motivate and empower your team, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and execute a strategic vision to promote a customer-first mentality across the store team.
• Monitor budgets, analyze reports, and drive financial targets.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including B2B solutions and sales conversion.
• Schedule, coach and develop talent, recruit top talent, and foster employee engagement.
• Disseminate communications and lead change initiatives while ensuring policy compliance.
