Job summary

Michaels in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC is seeking a friendly store associate to help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, planograms, and merchandise recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

Preferred is retail or customer service experience; cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production is available. The role supports BOPIS/SFS and loyalty enrollments, with a focus on safe, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program enrollments and private label credit cards.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness; support in-store recovery to keep products in stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
