Job summary

Foot Locker in Toronto is seeking a Store Leader on Duty to energize the floor, coach teammates, and uphold excellence in customer experiences. You’ll lead by example on shift, support hiring and onboarding, and ensure store standards and safety procedures are consistently met.

You’ll drive sales through strong floor leadership, manage daily operations, and collaborate across teams to execute priorities. A background in retail leadership and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key‑holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy, confidence, and solutions.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Manage daily store operations including opening/closing and floor coverage.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers and product.
• Provide leadership as Manager on Duty, assist hiring and onboarding, and mentor teammates.
