Job summary

Days-Hospitality-Limited is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Canada to lead a guest-focused team in a busy dining environment. You will oversee front-of-house operations, ensure standards, and collaborate with the kitchen to promote specials and events.

You will manage scheduling, guest relations, and daily prep tasks while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service to guests and hotel staff.

Qualifications

• 2 years restaurant management experience.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Serving it Right (BC) or ProServe (AB) or Smart Serve (ON) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies and ensure team members are properly certified.
• Record guest preferences, handle orders, requests and concerns.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Recruit, hire, train and empower team members.
• Maintain a calm, welcoming demeanor while multitasking front of house and prep tasks.
• Listen to guests or employees, address complaints, and involve a manager if needed.
• Upsell food and beverage items to boost guest satisfaction and sales.
