Job summary

Target Canada is seeking a Food Service Team Leader to oversee daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring guest experience commitments, food quality, safety, and accurate inventory. You will lead a team of hourly associates, coach performance, and uphold brand standards across food service routines.

You’ll manage tasks, plan workloads, respond quickly to guest needs, and collaborate with store leadership to deliver sales and service goals while maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to lead and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and ensure an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly experience.
• Ensure team members are trained and consistently deliver Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Monitor area metrics and identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Lead and develop hourly team members through coaching and feedback.
• Plan daily/weekly workloads to meet department and store goals.
• Maintain food safety and inventory standards across back-of-house and front-of-house areas.
