Job summary

Hotel Le Bonne Entente in Quebec is seeking an on-site cook with 1–2 years of restaurant experience. You will prepare and cook meals, manage portions and costs, and ensure dishes meet allergies and dietary needs. You will inspect kitchens, train staff, and maintain inventories in a busy hotel restaurant.

French language is required. This role is strictly on-site; candidates must be able to work in a restaurant setting in Capitale-Nationale, Quebec.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen/restaurant setting.
• Proficiency in French.
• On-site work in a restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine the size of food portions and costs.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by dietitian or chef.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
