Qualifications

• 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• RRT or eligible for registration with RRT within 1 year.
• Ability to pass PA Child Abuse History Clearance and Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

Job description

AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

You will be responsible for administering respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under the supervision of a physician and by prescription. The Respiratory Therapist performs all critical care duties independently and acts in a supervisory capacity when the supervisor is unavailable.

Qualifications

1. Have a Respiratory Therapist license or Temporary Practice Permit
2. Have 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (preferred)
3. Be RRT or eligible for registration with RRT (1 year to obtain license)
4. Have CPR/BLS certification or will obtain within 6 months
5. Have ACLS or will obtain within 6 months
6. Ability to follow directions and procedures
7. Good communication skills
8. Commitment to customer service
9. Ability to pass PA Child Abuse History Clearance
10. Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
11. Be a team player
