Job summary

Germain Hotels in Montreal is seeking a Reservations Agent with a warm, people-focused approach to greet guests by phone or email at the moment of booking. You will master our room types, pricing principles and services to offer attentive, personalized service.

You are bilingual in French and English, comfortable with hotel systems (OPERA PMS is a plus), and able to collaborate with departments to enhance each guest's experience across Canada.

Qualifications

• Hospitality diploma is an asset.
• Natural customer service orientation is an asset.
• Positive, organized and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent oral and written skills in French and English for frequent Canada-wide interaction.
• Knowledge of OPERA PMS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond cordially, quickly, and efficiently to calls and emails for reservations, modifications, cancellations or information requests.
• Assist guests in choosing the best room/package and optimize occupancy by managing the waiting list.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide information for a personalized guest experience.
• Develop knowledge of hotels served, including features and brand distinctions.
