Gray Collection in Montreal is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and support the dining room team during service. You will welcome guests, escort them to tables, adjust place settings as needed, answer calls, and ensure the dining area and restrooms are clean. Maintaining menus in excellent condition is part of the role.

Bilingual English and French is required. This role emphasizes exceptional guest experience, independence, and a proactive approach to guest

Qualificações

• Minimum of one year of experience in the same or a similar position.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Manage dining room reservations.
• Ensure menus are maintained in excellent condition.
• Welcome guests upon arrival, assign tables according to the established floor plan, escort guests to their table, and adjust place settings as needed.
• Assist the dining room team whenever necessary during service.
• Thank guests upon departure, inquire about their satisfaction, and invite them to return.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area, restrooms, and dining room.
• Answer telephone calls according to established procedures.
• Perform all other related duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of dining room service.
