Job summary

Syngenta Canada is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage client accounts across South Ontario from Leamington or Kingsville. This remote role targets achieving sales targets, developing growth opportunities, and building a network of local growers and influencers.

You will forecast product demand, coordinate with customer service to ensure timely deliveries, and support market insights using MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Science, or Business.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience.
• Knowledge of crops like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct or correspondent responsibility for the management of the client's account and customer service throughout the assigned area.
• Reach the sales budget for the assigned area.
• Identify the growth potential of key customers.
• Identify and exploit new business opportunities within the assigned area.
• Develop a network of local influencers for recommendations and anticipate changes in the market.
• Forecasting of product sales, market demands and market trends within the assigned area.
• Generate demand in the field through a plan that includes tests, field days and training with local growers and technicians.
• Constant communication with the customer service to verify inventories and the distribution of products in order to guarantee timely delivery to customers
