Job summary

Commonstake Partners seeks a Sales Representative to identify Canadian owner-managed businesses planning succession or sale in the coming years. The role is full-time and remote, open to candidates anywhere in Canada.

You will contact owners and their accountants, qualify leads, and book introductory meetings, presenting a brief for the partner. Remote work with occasional travel to regional events is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in sales, business development or account management (incl. internships).
• Outbound calling or email prospecting experience preferred.
• Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify owner-managed Canadian businesses likely to plan a succession or sale.
• Reach out to owners and their accountants by phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Qualify leads against firm criteria for size, ownership and timing.
