Job summary

Venture Computers of Canada Inc. is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver remote support to clients via phone and remote tools, with occasional onsite visits in the GTA area.

The ideal candidate has hardware repair experience on PC and Apple devices, proficiency in Windows, macOS, Office 365, and VPN, and strong communication skills to assist non-technical users. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hardware technician experience with PC and Apple devices.
• Proficient in Windows and Mac OS, Office 365, VPN.
• Strong communication and ability to explain tech to non-tech users.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Full-time role (Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM) with overtime compensation.
• Remote support with occasional onsite visits in the GTA area.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently diagnose and resolve tickets within SLAs.
• Stay updated with certifications and training.
• Configure Windows and Mac systems per client requirements.
• Manage vendor communications and other third-party interactions.
• Maintain detailed documentation for tickets and client billing.
• Facilitate communication between client, technical, and account teams.
• Meet client service level targets while upholding high standards.
• Collaborate with team lead to improve hardware repair operations.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by management.
