Job summary

Venture offers IT management and bespoke IT solutions with 30+ years of experience across multiple sectors. The IT Support Technician role focuses on remote client support via phone and remote tools, with occasional onsite visits to GTA client sites.

Strong hardware/software knowledge and customer service are essential. The position is full-time with 9:00 AM–5:30 PM hours, potential overtime, and benefits including health, dental, and vision packages.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hardware technician experience with PC and Apple device repair.
• Proficient with PC hardware, Windows OS, Office 365 and VPN applications.
• Solid grasp of iOS/MacOS devices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent communication and client service skills; able to explain technical details to non-tech users.
• Multitasking, time management and prioritization skills; ability to work with a field/remote team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve tickets within SLAs.
• Stay updated with essential certifications and training.
• Configure Windows and Mac systems per client requirements.
• Manage vendor communications and third-party interactions.
• Document ticket progress and client billing in detail.
• Facilitate communication between client, technical, and account teams.
• Meet client service level targets while maintaining high service standards.
• Collaborate with team lead to improve hardware repair operations.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.
