Job summary

Unlimited Potential in Kelowna, BC, is seeking a Service Technician to provide excellent customer service while servicing customer equipment. You will record service requests, perform maintenance, and follow up with customers on concerns.

This role involves planned maintenance, repairs, installation prep, and maintaining customer records. Travel to neighboring towns bi-monthly is required; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical or automotive background, training or certification.
• Strong communication skills are a must.
• Self-starter with initiative and reliable follow-up.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; annual abstracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance on company product lines and competitive equipment.
• Complete customer service breakdown calls and repairs as scheduled.
• Prepare new equipment for installation and in-service.
• Maintain customer records and profiles.
• Prepare and complete customer work orders, warranty claims and parts orders.
• Foster strong relationships with customers, sales staff and management.
• Solve mechanical and electrical problems using manuals and technical support.
• Travel to neighboring towns bi-monthly; company vehicle provided.
