Job summary

Obelisk Talent is seeking an independent Business Development Representative on a commission-based contract to identify and engage Canadian tech and SaaS firms scaling their teams. You will run discovery conversations with founders and hiring leaders, book qualified meetings, and collaborate with the founders to close deals.

You’ll manage your pipeline in our CRM, work remotely from Canada, and enjoy recurring commissions along with performance bonuses as we scale.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in tech or staffing.
• Based in Canada
• Existing network among Canadian business owners, founders or tech leaders
• Self-directed and comfortable with outbound outreach

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage Canadian tech and SaaS companies (10–200 employees) that are scaling their teams
• Run discovery conversations with founders, CTOs and hiring managers
• Book qualified meetings and work with founders to close deals
• Manage and track your pipeline in our CRM
