Job summary

Insight is seeking an AI Presales Solutions Architect to partner with sales, consulting and delivery teams from a remote Canada-based position. You will lead technical discovery, translate business needs into secure and scalable AI/data architectures, and communicate business value, feasibility and delivery considerations of proposed solutions.

This role is presales-focused, spanning discovery through proposal, solution design and handoff to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in architecture, solution consulting, engineering or delivery roles with data/AI/cloud exposure.
• Experience in presales, client-facing consulting, solution shaping, or advisory work with stakeholder trust.
• Ability to lead discovery conversations, qualify opportunities, and explain recommendations in business terms.
• Knowledge of modern AI patterns including generative AI, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and cloud AI services.
• Comfort with prototypes, demos, or proofs-of-concept to validate ideas.
• Strong communication and collaboration with delivery teams and market-facing contexts.
• Understanding of delivery considerations including scope, risks and feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, qualify AI/data opportunities, and shape solutions.
• Translate client requirements into high-level architectures and narratives.
• Prepare proposals, SOWs, RFP/RFI responses with clear scope and risks.
• Collaborate with account and services teams to align opportunities with offerings.
• Develop and review statements of work and implementation approaches.
• Maintain visibility across opportunities from discovery to delivery handoff.
