Job summary

VON Canada is hiring Visiting Nurses to deliver holistic, person-centred care in clients' homes, clinics, or virtually. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and support rehabilitation for diverse client groups with autonomy in practice.

This part-time role (0.8 FTE) requires an RPN license in Ontario, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable vehicle. Travel to Sundridge and nearby communities is expected within a flexible days/weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to client homes across listed locations.
• Criminal Records Check required; Vulnerable Sector/Search may be necessary.
• Able to wear PPE and work in home environments.

What we’re looking for

• Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice
• Community health experience is an asset
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
