Job summary

VON Canada is seeking a registered nurse to provide visiting home healthcare, delivering holistic care to clients in Meteghan and surrounding areas. You will assess needs, develop plans, and deliver primary care across client homes, clinics, and virtual settings.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice.
• Community health experience is an asset.

What we're looking for:

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
• Community health experience is an asset
• Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
• A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Working conditions and physical demands:

This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics.
