Job summary

VON Canada is seeking a Visiting Nurse to deliver holistic, client-centred care in homes and clinics. You will assess clients, administer medications, manage wounds, and support families across ages while working in a dynamic home-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
• Community health experience is an asset.
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.
• Must be able to wear PPE.

About the role:

Our Visiting nurses provide client care in the client’s own home. They provide physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, counselling to individuals and families and much more.
